The Message of Stronghold is one of hope and addresses a
real need in the body of Christ to know there is no stronghold in
a person's life that cannot be overcome by the Word of God - the
Sword of the Spirit - and prayer. "Biblically,
a stronghold can be
defined as any thoughts or beliefs that are entrenched in our
thinking that go against the knowledge of God," states Director
Becky Clayton. "These thoughts can manifest themselves as bad
habits, addictions or things that hinder us in our walk with God. In
this story, the people begin to see freedom from their inner
strongholds through the preaching of God's word, and ultimately, the
process of tearing down the physical stronghold begins." There
will be an actual storming of the castle on stage as one of the
final scenes. The drama is
presented as a medieval parable with an interesting story line,
humor, an original music score, poignant moments, dynamic steel
sword-fighting and a miniature horse as one of the cast members. Best
of all, it is suitable for the whole family!
